Creating clipping mask and Gradient in Photoshop

Creating a Clipping Mask and Gradient in Photoshop simply

Go to text tool
-> write a text
-> add a new layer
-> right click on text and select rasterize layer
-> select the new layer
-> select selection tool and select the text to which you want to give a gradient
-> select gradient tool
-> use it
-> now right-click the new layer
-> select create a clipping mask
-> merge the layers
